Abstract

The electromagnetic shielding is an effective way to resist electromagnetic interference. Utilizing the TLM (Transmission Line Method) method, this paper discussed the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of vehicles under the condition of high power electromagnetic pulse by adding different shielding materials. The results of simulation experiments show that adding metal shielding film can reduce the impact of electromagnetic pulse effectively and the shielding effectiveness of permalloy film is higher than that of copper film. The thickness of shielding film is one of main factors which affect shielding effectiveness.
