Abstract
Under the characteristics of the coal industry, this paper made related improvements to Michael Porter's “Diamond model”. Then this paper uses the improved model to analyze various factors of competitiveness of Henan coal industry. The conclusion is that competitiveness of Henan Coal Industry mainly comes from such factors as advantageous transportation, technological innovation. At the same time, this paper puts up relevant recommendations to various factors in order to enhance competitiveness of coal industry.
