Abstract

Abstract A re-extraction of the nitrosyl ruthenium complex from a tributyl phosphate-dodecane solvent system to a nitric acid solution was carried out. A longer aging of the organic phase before re-extraction lowered the re-extraction yield, while nitric acid extracted into the organic phase increased it. These results could be explained using a model with two organic species.
