Abstract

My collaborators and I report elsewhere ([22][1]) the detection of Salmonella expressing extended-spectrum cephalosporin resistance not previously recognized in U.S. livestock. This new milestone of resistance again raises questions of how to define and regulate the appropriate use of vital classes
