Abstract
This paper introduces the development and market structure of the multichannel cable television industry in Korea, and presents Korea Telecom's business strategy of evolving its cable television network into Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network (B‐ISDN), to provide a high capacity transmission pathway delivering voice, data, and video services.
