Abstract

In this paper, we propose the Hamming distance, Euclidean distance, Hausdorff distance and generalized distance between interval-valued hesitant fuzzy sets (IVHFSs). Then, we propose the generalized normalized distance similarity measure for IVHFSs and the generalized Hausdorff normalized distance similarity measure for IVHFSs, and apply them to multicriteria decision-making. Through distance similarity measures between the ideal alternative and each alternative, we can rank all the alternatives. Finally, we give two illustrative examples to demonstrate the application of distance similarity measures for IVHFSs to multicriteria decision-making.
