Abstract
The effect of a bound quarkonium intermediate state on the two-photon decay width of pseudoscalar quarkonium is considered. It is found that the width is a rather sensitive function of the binding strength parameter for weak to intermediate strengths, but saturates at strong coupling. A comparison with experiment and previous calculations is made.
