Abstract
It is shown that any theory of gravitation with a nonlinear Lagrangian depending on the Ricci tensor is equivalent to the Einstein theory of gravitation interacting with additional matter fields.Received 23 June 1987DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.37.1406©1988 American Physical Society
