Abstract

Two isolates of Mycosphaerella citrullina sporulated well under constant or intermittent illumination. Sporulation was poor in darkness. Both isolates produced abundant pycnidia on potato dextrose agar and on a peptone–dextrose–salts medium. Good production of perithecia occurred only on V-8 juice agar.
