Abstract

The paper introduces a new current-mode biquadratic filter with three input terminals and one output terminal. The filter proposed in this paper uses one plus-type second-generation current conveyor (CCII+), one dual-output second-generation current conveyor (DOCCII), two grounded capacitors and three resistors. The circuit can realize all the standard filter functions: high-pass, band-pass, low-pass, notch-pass, and all-pass by choosing appropriate input branches without changing the passive elements. It has very low active and passive sensitivities, and can tune the circuit pole parameters orthogonally. The performance of the proposed biquadratic filter was examined by PSPICE simulation.
