In Brief Scholarly journals use a peer review process when deciding whether to accept a manuscript for publication. This article will describe the peer review process, identify the qualities of a good peer review, and provide suggestions on how to become a peer reviewer. This brief article discusses many aspects of the peer review process, including its definition, the process itself, and tips on becoming a peer reviewer for a scholarly journal.
