Abstract
SUMMARY Male and female strains ofEudorina elegansEhrenberg were examined by serological methods for flagellar and cellular antigenic differences. No significant differences could be detected between the strains by using agglutination, immobilization and diffusion tests. However, differentiated sperm were neither agglutinated nor immobilized by anti‐vegetative cell sera.
