Abstract

Ninety-eight clones of alfalfa were evaluated for resistance to larval growth and adult feeding of Hypera postica (Gyllenhal). Larval growth response is associated with the degree of adult feeding on a plant. The data indicate that there is no significant difference in a plant's resistance to larval growth and adult feeding.
