Abstract
Beyond their traditional applications in time-resolved spectroscopy, femtosecond mode-locked lasers find more applications in ultrahigh-precision time and frequency measurement and control. In this paper, we review our recent progress in the measurement and control of timing properties of femtosecond lasers toward the attosecond precision.
