Abstract
Management training is in the melting pot in Britain at the moment. This is welcome as it shows the will to improve and helps to clear the ground for advance. This article traces the recent history of management training and looks into the very near future, when industrial training and management education will both be coming up for reform. The coincidence could be significant for some levels of management training… and for the future Training Boards
