Abstract

In this paper we developed a theory for the effect of antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations on the uniform spin susceptibility. Our theoretical analysis suggests strongly that the effect of the antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations on the uniform spin susceptibility is the origin of the temperature dependence of the uniform spin susceptibility in high-T c superconductors.
