Abstract

The vertical distribution of radio wave absorption in the ionosphere and the electron temperature profile at heights of 100--150 km are found from an analysis of the results of simultaneous measurements of radio wave absorption in the ionosphere by the radioastronomic and pulse methods at Gor'kiy in 1965--1966. Absorption in the lower ionosphere is separated into the deviative and nondeviative components.
