Abstract
The urban spatially morphological development of Changsha city is unique, and its construction progress demonstrates the general urban morphological development rule of traditional Chinese inland city under modern urbanization process. This paper summarizes the construction features of urban spatial development pattern of Changsha city, analysis its future development trend, combines discussion on the reasonable urban function constitution, establishes its reasonable model of future urban space, and build its unique urban special morphology as “mountain, river, island, city”.
