Abstract

Phytodromus was proposed by Muma (1961) for Amblyseius leucophaeus Athias-Henriot. This genus is revised, Phytodromus allenrolfius Denmark n. sp. described and the following species redescribed and transferred from Amblyseius to Phytodromus: P. dodonaeae (Schicha), P. harveyi (McMurtry and Schicha), P. queenslandensis (McMurtry and Schicha), P. sinaiticum (Amitai and Swirski), P. houstoni (Schicha), and P. cataractus (Ueckermann and Loots). A key to species is provided.
