Abstract
The sandstone in Jurassic Yan'an formation of the Jiyuan area is an important oil exploration target in the Ordos Basin, medium China. The sedimentary facies of Yan'an Formation in Jiyuan Oilfield was interpreted jointly with sedimentary structure, characters of sedimentary sequence, and logging data in this study. It was considered that the sedimentary facies of the tenth member of Yan'an Formation was braided river, which mainly contained three sedimentary microfacies including braided channel, channel bar, and floodplain deposits. The distribution and model of the braided river deposits of the tenth member of Yan'an Formation was concluded.
