Abstract
The tridentate phosphine-substituted iridium cluster,[Ir4(CO)9{(Ph2P)3CH}], has been shown by X-ray crystallography to be the first example of a phosphine-substituted tetranuclear iridium cluster in which the all-terminal co ligand configuration of the parent [Ir4(co)12]is maintained.
