Abstract
Abstract The crystal of bis(2-chlorobenzoato)zinc(II) is monoclinic, space group P21/c, a=7.284, b=10.480, c=19.091 Å, β=95.59°, and Z=4. The structure was solved by usual heavy atom method and refined to the final R-value of 0.052. In the crystalline state, the complex forms a chain. Each zinc atom is bonded to four oxygen atoms from four different ligands.
