Abstract

Hydrated electron produced by the u.v. flash photolysis of OHaq– undergo a bimolecular combination reaction to form a species—postulated to be a hydrated dielectron—which, on subsequent i.r. flash photolysis, regenerates monomeric hydrated electrons.
