Abstract

In the radiolysis of aqueous solutions of sulphanilic acid, the absolute rate constants of its reaction with H and OH have been determined by competition kinetics using isopropanol as the competitor. Hydrated electron reaction rate constant with sulphanilic acid has been determined at pH 11 using the decay of hydrated electrons produced by the photolytic reaction of OH− in a H2 saturated solution.
