Abstract
Six equations of state for calculating gas-compressibility have been compared with experimental compressibility factors to evaluate the accuracy and the conditions for use of each equation. Topics considered in this paper include natural gas, compression, equations of state, compressibility, accuracy, research programs, calculation methods, and comparative evaluations.
