Abstract

A series of diagrams is presented which allows spectral classification on the MK system for stars of types A and F based on uvby and fi photometry. The scheme is accurate to one luminosity class and to one- or two-tenths of a spectral class and is independent of reddening. Key words: spectral classification - photometry
