Abstract
Synopsis Treatment of 27 winter wheat varieties resulted in decreased yields in 2 varieties when treated March 1 with ½ pound per acre of 2,4‐D; in 24 when treated November 26 with ½ pound per acre; in 17 when treated March 1 with 2.0 pounds per acre; and in 26 when treated November 26 with 2.0 pounds per acre. Treatment of 29 winter oat varieties resulted in decreased yields in 3 varieties when treated March 1 with ½ pound per acre; in 26 when treated November 26 with ½ pound per acre; in 26 when treated March 1 with 2.0 pounds per acre; and in 29 when treated November 26 with 2.0 pounds per acre.
