Abstract
Tris[difluoroamino)methyl]amine was prepared by the action of difluorimide and acid on hexamethylenetetramine, dinitropentamethylenetetramine, or dichloropentamethylenetetramine. It was also prepared by the action of difluorimide and formaldehyde on ammonium salts or sulphamic acid. Some reactions of the amine were examined, and the i.r. and n.m.r. spectra were determined.
