Abstract Cystiphora schmidti produced similar numbers and densities of galls on the 3 Australian forms of its host weed Chondrilla juncea. The total number of galls increased with available leaf area. Density of galls was similar on all leaf areas offered. Low temperature significantly reduced the number and density of galls on all forms of the weed.
