Abstract

The frequency and distribution of 5-hydroxytryptamin (5HT), somatostatin, cholecystokinin (CCK), motilin, gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon/glicentin (glu/gli) endocrine cells were immunohistochemically studied in the intestinal tract of 3, 6, 8 month old buffalo foetuses (m.f.) and of 2 day old (d) animals.
