Abstract

This chapter presents a series of questions and answers on marginal zone lymphoma (MZL). It commences with a discourse on how MZL is distinguished from other non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHLs), and ends with the discussion on the role of maintenance rituximab. The chapter also discusses on the types of MZL, the role of splenectomy in Splenic MZL (SMZL), the best treatment for localized mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma, and the optimal first-line treatment for advanced stage nodal MZL (NMZL).
