Abstract
High-pressure discharge low temperature plasma technology is a new advanced oxidation technology, which have been gradually used in the Held of water treatment research. The experiment will design and produce a Discharge non-thermal plasma reactor for water treatment which can combine dielectric barrier discharge with corona discharge. Distilled water as test solution. High-voltage electrodes are led to 50Hz AC high voltage so that it can form a dielectric barrier discharge corona discharge system in the air at atmospheric pressure. The results show that, 1) in the dielectric barrier discharge-corona discharge system, the electrode spacing become smaller, the voltage increases, the discharge current increases. But when the voltage is <;12.5kV, the corona discharge system electrode spacing has little effect on the discharge current. When the voltage is <;7.5kV, dielectric barrier discharge system electrode spacing has little effect on the discharge current. 2) The distribution of the size of atomized droplets is effected by the electrode spacing and its power supply voltage. At a low voltage (<;15kV), dielectric barrier discharge system electrode spacing becomes the major limiting factor of droplet particle size. As the voltage increasing, the size of atomized droplets is restricted by the electrode spacing has become obvious. At a low voltage (<;10kV), the electrode spacing has effect on the particle size of atomized droplet in the corona discharge system. 3)Through the comparison of energy efficiency in the experiment that has determine the optimal experimental conditions are the reactor in the 30mm dielectric barrier discharge system electrode spacing, 25mm corona discharge system electrode spacing and 25kV power supply voltage. In the reactor system, two discharge system are all spray in a very good state and a better discharge status at the same time .
