Abstract
Samples of carbonate rocks from Triassic deposits of Siberia and the Northern Caucasus, Carbon and Devonian deposits from the East European platform, and Proterozoic (Precambrian) deposits from Karelia have been studied by means of electron microscopy. Evident coccolites were retrieved from the Triassic deposits, whereas the structures very similar to those of re-crystallized Cenozoic limestones containing nannofossils have been discovered in Palaeozoic and Proterozoic deposits.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
