These strata have been correlated by earlier workers with the Mississippian Brazer Limestone of northern Utah and have been referred to by that name. Since the east-central Idaho section bears little lithologic or temporal similarity to the Brazer, the name should be abandoned in that area and new names applied to units of proved mappability.
