Abstract

On the basis of discrete choice model theory the characteristics between the correlations of different options are analyzed. The characteristics of various traffic-mode that are in the comprehensive transportation hub and the Nest Logit mode is used to establish the traffic-mode choice prediction model which determines its utility function, calculates the probability of traffic-mode choice, and determines the model parameters. Using the survey data of Zhongshan City, in the light of the different distances the traffic-mode choice is predicted; furthermore it compares, analyzes and forecast results with the actual survey results, which could verify the applicability of the model.
