[1] In the paper “On the short-term relationship between solar soft X-ray irradiances and equatorial total electron content (TEC)” by X. Wang et al. (Journal of Geophysical Research, 111, A10S15, doi:10.1029/2005JA011488, 2006), an error was made when generating Figure 6 for publication. While the reviewed version of the paper contained the correct figure, the cross-correlations between TEC and the short wavelength observations at 6–19 and 17–20 nm shown in the paper are not correct. The correct figure is shown below. The authors apologize to the readers for this error.
