Abstract

This paper points out the deficiency of the traditional power splitters and introduces the principle of the waveguide E-type T junction power divider. On this basis, an improved waveguide E-type T junction power splitter is proposed with the advantages of high isolation, low insertion loss, small size and wide bandwidth. The three-dimensional simulation software CST is used in modeling and simulating. The measured results show that the insertion loss is less than 0.12dB, the return loss is better than 18dB and the isolation between the two output ports is better than 15dB from 12 to 17 GHz.
