AC Litekid is a medium-full season maturing and high yielding light red kidney bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) cultivar. Its main advantages are higher yield potential and earlier maturity than the presently recommended cultivar California Light Red Kidney in Ontario. Seed has acceptable cooking and canning quality. AC Litekid is resistant to alpha and alpha Brazilian races of anthracnose and to races 1 and 15 of bean common mosaic virus.
