Abstract
Field equations in the scalar-tensor theory of gravitation proposed by Brans and Dicke [Phys.Rev.124, 925, 1961] are obtained with the aid of a non-static plane symmetric metric in the presence of a perfect fluid matter distribution. The field equations being highly non-linear, a cosmological model describing disordered radiation is presented. Some physical and kinematical properties of the model are also studied.
