Abstract

The Ba even-parity J = 2 spectrum has been studied by using an autoionization approach. Energy levels of the Ba 6 snd 1,3 D 2 Rydberg states have been measured and interpreted by the multichannel quantum defect theory. The results are in good agreement with the previous studies.
