Abstract
Thirteen Faraday cups were fitted into a common housing to measure current distribution as a function of time, position, and drift tube pressures of the electron beam emitted by the 45 kA electron beam accelerator at the Sandia Laboratories. Description of the instrument design and the electronic configurations are given along with some examples of signals generated in individual cups by short duration (∼100 nsec) pulses of 3.2 MeV electrons.
