To provide background for future decisions on National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space and earth science activities, the Subcommittee on Space Science and Applications of the House Science and Technology Committee heard testimony on Space and Earth Science: Past, Present, and Future. Testimony was given by top U.S. space scientists, administrators, and policy‐makers.
