According to the housing situation of different regions and different income groups of urban residents, the scientific measurement of public rental housing demand is the basis for the preparation of housing security planning. Public rental housing needs of different cities should consider the regional urban population distribution, city housing prices and residential housing consumption ability, the immigrant population, the city level and scale, and other factors. We take Zhejiang province as an example, explore the public rental housing demand of different cities, and try to provide a reference for public rental housing construction planning and related policy formulation.
