A Study on Dynamic and Active Organizational Memory on the Basis of Knowledge Management

In today's knowledge-based economy, knowledge is important asset in organizations. Knowledge creation, acquirement and effective use are the keys to successful organizations. Organizational memory is not only the assembling of organizational knowledge, but also the foundation for organizational knowledge management. Starting from the knowledge essence of organizational memory, proceeding summarization upon concept of organizational memory to some extent, it emphasized the close connection with organizational memory among several organizational concepts related to the knowledge such as organizational learning, organizational forgetting and knowledge innovation and so on, and then discussed the dynamic and active management mechanism of organizational memory under the view of organizational knowledge management, thus striving to make the organizational memory management serve the development and innovation of organization in a better manner.
