Abstract

This paper provides a brief overview of designing a web application framework. The aim of the web application framework is the ability of rapid and quality development of secure web application. The paper analyzes several existing open source Java web frameworks and determines their positive and negative features. Then the paper describes an approach to design a new web framework. The approach integrates and applies the positive characteristics of the analyzed web frameworks.
