Abstract Mealybug species in Auckland orchards and vineyards were surveyed between 1975 and August 1976. Three species were found: Pseudococcus calceolariae (Maskell), P. obscurus Essig, and P. longispinus (Targioni Tozzetti), the predominant mealybug.
