Abstract

Based on the DEA theory and with the help of DEAP2.1 software as well as a number of relevant documents, this thesis studies technological innovation capability of high-tech industry in Tianjin. In this thesis, the technological innovation capability of high-tech in Tianjin will be studied horizontally and longitudinally in the aspects of comprehensive effectiveness, Technical Efficiency (Technical Efficiency), Scale and Total Factor Productivity Index (TFP). Throughout our studies, we will figure out the lack of stuff input. Focusing on the conclusion, one recommendation is that stuff input should be increased and that some reasonable methods should be employed so as to turn technology into products.
