Abstract
The increased P32 uptake of the various phosphorus-containing fractions during hypertrophy in liver and prostatic tissue is not exhibited during renal hypertrophy. It is suggested that the P32 increases seen in the liver and prostatic tissue during hypertrophy are associated with subsequent mitotic activity found in these tissues.
