Abstract
Using the income and consumption data of rural residents of China from the year 2002 to 2008, this paper builds up the panel data model, analyzes the influence of income gap on the rural consumption structure in China, meanwhile consumption functions of various expenditure based on income gap are estimated, and further discussions are also carried out according to the estimation results.
