Abstract

ABSTRACT. Five possible mechanisms involved in the disruption of phero‐mone‐mediated behaviour in the control of lepidopterous pests are discussed. The various techniques used in the field, laboratory investigations of such mechanisms, and possible limitations in the application of such studies, are reviewed.
